Three officers executed a "no-knock warrant", barging in through Taylor's front door with a battering ram without identifying themselves as police. Taylor and Walker had no idea that these intruders were police, or why they were violently storming the residence. Breonna Taylor was shot eight times and died on the scene by the officers.
Ahmaud Arbery was jogging through a neighborhood near his home in Brunswick, Georgia. George McMichael observed Arbery jogging and confronted him with guns. Arbery was savagely shot and killed by the man and his son.

Tony McDade, a Black transgender man who was suspected in a recent stabbing, was shot to death by police on May 27. Not only have no charges been brought or disciplinary action taken against the officer who killed McDade — the public does not even know who the killer is. That's because of a Florida law that classifies officers who kill civilians as "victims" in order to protect their privacy.
14-year-old Joāo Pedro was killed by the Rio de Janeiro police. In 2019 alone, Rio police killed 1,814 people; an all time record. The victims mostly being young black males.
Mr. Simmons had become addicted to drugs while stationed overseas He was convicted of 1st-degree robbery and sentenced to life without parole for stealing $9. Simmons has spent the last 38 years in prison. This is clearly a case of cruel and unjust punishment. Over the years Mr. Simmons has filed several appeals without any legal assistance. All of his appeals were denied, and based on a 2014 change in Alabama laws, it appears that he has no appeal options left.In the interest of justice Governor Kay Ivey should commute Mr. Simmons sentence.
We know how so many people of cultural minorities are in constant fear of leaving their household. This fear in our lives far too often comes from individuals working in public safety who harm people. Every single week we hear about another unarmed innocent vulnerable human being shot by the police. This has increased the trauma and fear that has made people of color scared to leave their homes. We need legislation now that prohibits police officers from shooting unarmed citizens. If there isn’t a weapon found after someone has been shot (therefore, unarmed) by a police officer, then I propose that the officer should receive a mandatory 15-year prison sentence.
Alejandro is a innocent 15 year old, African American who got shot 7 times while walking to Boone High School, in December of 2018. NO ARREST HAVE BEEN MADE!!! This is Sean. He was a victim of police brutality that happened May 6th, 2020. He was running from the police and was on Facebook live. The police officer tased him while he was going down and then shot the man 14 times in the back. Police brutality is real! The police officer needs to be fired! I don’t know the name of the officer or where this took place, but something has to change!
My cousin Tamir was only 12-years-old when he was shot and killed last year by a Cleveland police officer as he played in a park with a toy gun. Timothy Loehmann, an officer in training, shot and killed Tamir within two seconds of arriving at the park. The police car hadn’t even fully stopped before he began shooting. He shot my little cousin so quickly it would have been impossible for him to tell Tamir to drop the toy airsoft gun, much less for Tamir to respond to them.
An NYPD officer went to Nashville, TN, for a bachelor's party, and broke into his neighbors home by kicking in the door, then assaulted them while calling them racial slurs. "In surveillance footage with audio shared by Halliburton's neighbor, the man can be heard saying 'Try to shoot me, and I'll break every f---ing bone in your f---ing neck...' He can also be heard calling the victims 'f---ing n------."'

We need everybody's help and support to focus on what happened here in Memphis to Darrius Stewart, an unarmed 19-year-old, who was gunned down by a white cop in a case of mistaken identity. We are looking for justice for the victim in this case.
Prison labour is a form of modern American slavery used by multiple large corporations across the world. Under the 13th amendment to the United States Constitution, slavery was merely reformed rather than abolished. An example of one of the most extreme cases of prison labour happens in Texas and Florida, where prisoners are forced to work in fields without any pay. Companies like McDonald's, Wal-mart and many more use slave labour to cut down on production costs despite being more than able to use other ways. Racial justice in the USA cannot be achieved until prison labour is abolished completely.
Siyanda was camping when the attackers threatened to kill her, calling her racial slurs. When the female attacker approached, Siyanda tried to push her away in self-defence. Siyanda was holding a glass in her hand which caused a minor cut (that didn't even require stitches) to the attacker. The two men proceeded to drag Siyanda to the ground, stomping on her head (evidence of shoe prints and bruises on her face were submitted) in a vicious attack. Siyanda managed to free herself, and while she hid from her attackers, they called the police and falsely accused Siyanda of perpetrating an attack on them.
Chrystul Kizer, now 19 (was 17 at the time), admitted to killing 34-year-old Randall Volar at his home last year after she says he raped her, according to her attorneys. No woman should be facing life in prison for handling an assailant on her own, where she lacked the time or resources to seek proper assistance.
Andile Mchunu (Bobo) was beaten by a group of men for allegedly stealing alcohol and money. His sister came to fetch him after it was reported that he was being beaten but she was told to go fetch him some clothes and when she came back from fetching the clothes she was told that Andile has escaped. Which is hard to believe because a video of him unconscious has been circulating and a person in his state would’ve never been able to escape. And now the boy is nowhere to be found.
Eric Riddick was sentenced to life in prison in 1992 after he was wrongfully convicted of first degree murder, despite there being no physical evidence connecting him to the crime. His conviction was solely based on a single eyewitness testimony, which was first recanted in 1999. Since then, the key witness has signed multiple affidavits that Eric was not connected to the crime. Additionally, multiple individuals have come forward confirming that Eric did not shoot William Catlett, but an individual named "P-Nut" did. At the time of the shooting, Eric was with three friends two blocks away.
This petition is being created for my sister Amiya Braxton. On October 4th 2016 Amiya was stepping off of her school bus and was hit and killed by a car. 11 months later my family and I met with the District Attorney John Weddle and Sadie Gardener. The stomp had also left a shoe mark. They then arrested her and her fiance and made them spend the whole night in jail while Emerald was miscarrying.
Elijah is being punished for defending himself against 3 attackers, which is unfair. The judge who sentenced Elijah went over the 1st time offenders guidelines of 3.5 years to 8 years. This judge is known for handing down harsher sentences to people of color.

A 13 years old femail falsely convicted for murder. That sort never happened and Angel was found guilty due to her lawyers not taking her case seriously. The damage they inflicted is at the expense of her life. JUSTICE NEEDS TO BE HEARD AND SERVED!
Sheku Bayoh was detained in police custody in Kircaldy, near Edinburgh, Scotland on Sunday 3 May. He did not leave police custody alive. We all have grave concerns at the role of Police Scotland and are asking the Lord Advocate and the PIRC to help us get the truth.
